Specialist Mortgage and its Director, Helen Avis, have both been announced as a finalists in the WA Finance Broker Business Award and WA Residential Finance Broker Award at the annual Mortgage &<\/p>\n
Specialist Mortgage and its Director, Helen Avis, have both been announced as a finalists in the WA Finance Broker Business Award and WA Residential Finance Broker Award at the annual Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia* (MFAA) State Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n
The awards highlight brokers, broker businesses and staff who have demonstrated exceptional customer service, professionalism, ethics, growth and innovation.<\/p>\n
Judged by an\u00a0independent panel of industry specialists, business professionals and experts, the MFAA Excellence Awards are the most rigorous in the Australian mortgage and finance industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am <\/span>honoured to have been recognised by my industry peers and to have been selected from all the entrants across WA and named as a finalist for this award,\u201d Ms Avis said.<\/p>\n \u201cI have built a reputation on my tenacity to respond promptly and professionally and working tirelessly to secure the best financial packages for my clients, who often don\u2019t fit into traditional lending options.<\/p>\n \u201cMuch of my time is spent dealing with credit policy teams, finding solutions to technical challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n Helen said 80 per cent of new business generated is from existing client referrals.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been cognisant of maintaining exceptional customer service in my busiest periods.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a team we are focused on communication, empathy, transparency and problem-solving and I believe this is what brings people back year-on-year.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe MFAA has acknowledged Helen Avis and Specialist Mortgage as state finalists for demonstrating professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, growth and innovation,\u201d the MFAA stated.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be recognised as a finalist speaks volumes of their exceptional practice and professionalism in the mortgage and finance industry,\u201d the MFAA added.\u00a0<\/p>\n Over the last 20 years the awards have played a key role in lifting the standards of service and professionalism across Australia\u2019s mortgage and finance industry.<\/p>\n All finalists, including Helen Avis and Specialist Mortgage, have an opportunity to be recognised as their state\u2019s winner.
