Life is about constant, predictable patterns of change.\u00a0 For the six thousand years of recorded history, as humans have entered this world, received parental instruction, classroom instruction, and gathered the experience of life; many have set for themselves ambitious goals and dreamed lofty dreams.<\/p>\n As the wheel of life continues its constant turning, all human\u00a0emotions appear, disappear, and appear once again.<\/p>\n A major challenge faced by us all is that we must learn to\u00a0experience the changing of life\u2019s cycles without being changed\u00a0by them; to make a constant and conscious effort to improve\u00a0ourselves in the face of changing circumstances.<\/p>\n As I read, ponder and speculate about people, their deeds, and their destiny, I become more deeply convinced that it is our natural destiny to grow, to succeed, to prosper, and to find happiness while we are here.<\/p>\n By our attitude, we decide to read, or not to read.<\/p>\n By our\u00a0attitude, we decide to try or give up.<\/p>\n Our\u00a0attitude determines whether we tell the truth or lie, act or\u00a0procrastinate, advance or recede, and by our own attitude we\u00a0and we alone actually decide whether to succeed or fail. How incredibly unique that a God who would create the complex\u00a0and immense universe would create the human race and give to\u00a0those humans the free choice that would permit them to select their own achievement or their own destruction.<\/p>\n This strange, but all-knowing God gave to us a delicately\u00a0balanced sphere called earth.<\/p>\n On it, he placed the\u00a0intelligent human who would either develop it or destroy it.<\/strong><\/p>\n How terribly fascinating that a God would leave both\u00a0projects \u2013 earth as well as humans \u2013 unfinished!<\/p>\n Across the rivers and streams, he built no bridges; he left the pictures unpainted, the songs unsung, the books unwritten, and space unexplored.<\/p>\n For the accomplishment of those things, God\u00a0created the unfinished human who, within his heart and mind,\u00a0had the capacity to do all these things and more, depending\u00a0upon his own choice.<\/p>\n All that we are and all that we can become has indeed been left unto us.<\/p>\n For as long as you continue to draw breath, you have\u00a0the chance to complete the work in and for the earth and for\u00a0yourself that God has begun for you.<\/p>\n In the cycles and\u00a0seasons of life, attitude is everything!\u00a0 Before we begin our discussion of the four seasons I\u2019ll start by making two comments.<\/p>\n First, life and business\u00a0are like the changing seasons.<\/p>\n That\u2019s one of the best ways to\u00a0illustrate life:\u00a0 it\u2019s like the seasons that change.<\/p>\n Second,\u00a0you cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself.<\/p>\n Now with those two key phrases in mind, let\u2019s look at what I\u00a0consider to be the first major lesson in life to learn, and\u00a0that is how to handle the winters.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n They come regularly, right\u00a0after autumn.<\/p>\n Some are long, some are short, some are\u00a0difficult, some are easy, but they always come right after\u00a0autumn.<\/p>\n That is never going to change.<\/p>\n There are all kinds of winters \u2013 the \u201cwinter\u201d when you can\u2019t\u00a0figure it out, the \u201cwinter\u201d when everything seems to go\u00a0haywire.<\/p>\n Wintertime can bring disappointment, and disappointment is\u00a0common to all of us.<\/p>\n So you must learn how to handle the\u00a0winters.<\/p>\n You must learn how to handle difficulty; it always\u00a0comes after opportunity.<\/p>\n You must learn to handle recessions;\u00a0they come right after expansions.<\/p>\n That isn\u2019t going to change.<\/p>\n You can\u2019t get rid of January (remember Jim Rohn was American) simply by tearing it off the calendar.<\/p>\n But\u00a0here is what you can do: you can get stronger; you can get\u00a0wiser; and you can get better.<\/p>\n Remember that trio of words:\u00a0stronger, wiser, better.<\/p>\n Before I understood this, I used to wish it were summer when\u00a0it was winter.<\/p>\n When things were difficult, I used to wish\u00a0they were easy.\u00a0![\"Jim](\"https:\/\/cdn.propertyupdate.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Jim-Rohn_2015-300x300.jpg\")

By our attitude, we\u00a0blame ourselves for our failure, or we blame others.<\/span><\/h2>\n
