However, any capital works renovations since this date, and eligible plant and equipment, will still attract depreciation deductions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-iqd63\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 _1atvN _1FoOD _3M0Fe _2WrB- _1atvN public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><strong>Capital gains implications<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-v0fk2\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 _1atvN _1FoOD _3M0Fe _2WrB- _1atvN public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\">Your main residence is exempt from Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
